Little Niangua Nature Cabin

Small waterfall surrounded by rocks, moss, and bushes and trees with no leaves

Fun: When you choose lodging at Little Niangua Nature Cabin, it’s pretty much required that you have some! You’re bound to find some as you sense the sights, sounds, textures, fragrances and maybe some tastes that the Ozark woodlands and streams offer. As we explain in the Activities section of the website, if you’re more into quiet relaxation instead of fun in nature, we fully understand and will help you find the quiet side of nature.

We want you to enjoy your time at our bed and breakfast in this nature setting. We encourage you to discover and study the many members of the natural community here and absorb the energy that permeates the woodlands and the stream.

Rates: Our rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to Missouri and Camden County sales tax. During this time of Covid caution, you choose between BnB Style (we host you and offer guided nature hikes for $150.00/night for one or two people) or DiY Style (we do not host you and you bring your own food and drink for $135.00/night for one or two people). When more than two people stay, each additional person is an additional $25.00/night. For example, when four people stay DiY Style for Friday and Saturday night, the charge is $135.00/night for the first two people plus $50.00/night for the third and fourth people = $185.00/night x 2 nights = $370.00 plus tax, which is 8.475%. People includes children. You’re welcome to bring children out of kindergarten and older.

Arrival: Arrival is between 4 – 6 p m or by prior arrangement. When you choose BnB Style, we are happy to meet you at the Hwy 65 and Hwy 54 intersection in Preston, Mo and lead you in (about 10 miles) or at the intersection of Starlight Cave Road & Geronimo Springs Road (about 1 mile) from the cabin. We’ll figure that out close to the reservation date by phone.

Check Out: Please plan on checking out by 11:00 a m. That allows enough time for cleanup before the next guests arrive.

Children: Children who have completed Kindergarten and above are welcome.

Pets: Sorry, but due to other folks’ allergy potential, pets should be left at home.

Reservations: Reservations are necessary. There is a two-night minimum unless you make special arrangements with us.=. Payment in full is required at the time of booking. Acceptable methods of payment include: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Accessibility: At this time, the upstairs loft is not handicapped accessible, and we do not have an elevator. Downstairs, we do have grab bars in the bathroom, 36” doors and a ramp into the cabin. We do plan on making the downstairs fully accessible in the near future.

Information Collection and Information Privacy: We at Little Niangua Nature Cabin are dedicated to protecting your privacy and keeping your identifiable information safe. We only use your reservation information to facilitate payment. We do not share, sell, or make available, your information. We use ResNexus for our online reservation services. More information can be found at their website. ResNexus uses industry standard encryption to protect your personal and payment information during and after your stay with us. After your reservation is complete, the system removes your credit card information to prevent theft or disclosure. ResNexus meets or exceeds rigorous industry standards for protecting credit card information and is PCI compliant. We may amend the Privacy Statement in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs or to satisfy the needs of our guests, our property, strategic marketing partners and/or service providers.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: This is the hard one that nobody wants to deal with. Please understand that we try to put ourselves in your place. You make a reservation with all good intentions but something really important happens at the last moment and you have to cancel. If you cancel, then we receive zero income for that reservation. If we can rebook it, you owe us nothing. However, if you cancel within 14 days of your reservation, you lose all of the payment. You do get the security deposit back.

Security Deposit: We know you wouldn’t break or stain anything, but every once in a while, something happens that we need to replace something that a guest breaks. Your refundable security deposit covers that and is returned to you after your reservation. That refundable amount is $100.00, minus any damages. We’ll talk about that if it happens.

Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs: Please, no smoking on the property, which includes the cabin and our 25 acres. No recreational drugs either. As far as alcohol is concerned, if you want to be able to return, then if you drink alcohol, drink responsibly. So, a glass of wine or a beer is ok, but not much else.

Food and Drink: No Food or Drink is allowed upstairs.

Specials, Gift Cards and Gift Certificates: We will be accepting these soon and will let you know. Thanks!

Our COVID protocol and Changes: After guests leave, we sanitize the upstairs and downstairs hard surfaces, including night stands, bedframes, window sills, counters, door and drawer handles, and we launder the bed sheets and blankets.
